The Second Epoch of the First Era covers the period of time in which the Great Fires abated, and Adnati cooled to the point where the stones and metals could reach a solid state. This period is known as “The Cooling.”
This follows the First Epoch, a period when Adnati was so hot that the stones and metals of the earth melted and ran as rivers and oceans, a period known as “The Molten.”
The emergence of the earliest forms of plant life marked the end of the Second Epoch and the First Era, and moved into the Second Era and Third Epoch.
