Soladÿn is the first day of the 10-day week in the Common Calendar, and the second day of the two-day weekend. It is preceded by Estaradÿn, which ends the previous week, and is followed by Eldamaradÿn. Soladÿn is named after the sun, Sola.
The four major parts of the cycle of Adnati’s red moon, Raudraal — the new moon, quarter moon, full moon, and three-quarter moon — all end up on Soladÿn, as one-quarter of it’s 40-day cycle corresponds to the Common Calendar’s 10-day week.
